I would like to draw your attention to the village meeting at Foxdale Primary School (7pm Thursday 26th Jan) concerning the possible closure of St Paul’s Church as a place of worship. You are welcome to attend the meeting, please keep this situation in your prayers. I attach a copy of the leaflet that has been circulated to Foxdale residents for your general information.
Also this week the ‘Assisted Dying’ consultation closes, please make your views on this important issue know to the government, more details are on the pew sheet.
On a more joyous note, next Sunday 29th January, we are pleased that our friends from the Crosby Methodist Chapel will join our morning worship at Marown. It will be very good to come together again and share fellowship.
The Ministry team is also beginning to consider how we journey through Lent. What would you like us to provide? A traditional study course? A film based course? A discussion group? Also, what time of day and days of the week might be most suitable? Your thoughts on these questions to me please.
