Dear friends,
I have exciting news – the work on the new heating and lighting in Marown Church begins on Monday 15th June as scheduled.
This means that the church will be closed though the churchyard remains open – do take care if visiting there as contractors’ vehicles will be on site.
Next Saturday is the Parish Walk. You will still be able to watch those taking part from the church frontage but, again, no one will be able to enter the church.
We are very grateful to our friends at the Crosby Chapel for inviting us to join them on Sunday mornings while Marown Church is closed – do remember their service begins at 11am. Of course, Old St Runius and St Luke’s churches remain open for worship and visiting.
