Our parish Ministry Team are excited to offer The Bible Course as our Advent study course this year.
Produced by The Bible Society, it is an 8-week course that helps us to ‘Explore the BIG story’ of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
Each session includes a video presentation, teaching and discussion time plus an opportunity for personal prayer and reflection. Refreshments will be served at the beginning of each session.
The sessions will be held on Monday evenings 7.30-9pm in Marown Church beginning on 30th November.
They will then run every Monday except 28th December.
- 30th November – Introducing the Bible
- 7th December – Creation & Covenant
- 14th December – Exodus and Promised Land
- 21st December – Judges and Kings
- 4 January – Exile and Prophets
- 11th January – Jesus and the Gospels
- 18th January – Acts and the Church
- 25th January – Revelation and Review
There is a course booklet to accompany the series, please let Canon Janice know if you would like a copy.
We realise that not everyone can get to church for these sessions nor be available for all of them, so we are planning to offer the course on-line and as a recorded ‘catch up’ version.
This is the chance to ask and have answered all those biblical questions you have never asked before!
