A well attended Plough Sunday service took place on January 8th, asking for God’s blessing on those who work to produce and prepare our food and for the coming seasons.

We were joined towards the end of the service by David and Nicola Rawnsley with their horses Tempete and Elle pulling a dray loaded with a single furrow horse plough for a short plough and horse blessing ceremony performed by Rev Canon Janice Ward.
