Dear friends,
I hope you all had an enjoyable Tynwald Day. The whole island seemed to be at St John’s for the celebrations and it was a privilege to be part of that joining other ministers in the chapel and on The Hill.
Thank you to everyone who made the visit of the Mariners’ Choir to St Luke’s another huge success, as always, the catering was superb and we are very grateful to everyone that helped.
The electrical team at Marown Church are working hard but there is still quite a bit to do before the heating and lighting are fully installed. Therefore, the church will remain closed until 24th July.
We are very grateful to our friends at the Crosby Methodist Chapel for extending their invitation to join their morning worship until then.
Finally, please note there is no service at St Luke’s Church tomorrow evening, Sunday 12th July.
