Dear friends,
This weekend we begin a new Church year as we celebrate the first Sunday of Advent.
Our liturgical colour is purple, the colour of repentance, as we acknowledge our sinful nature and look to our redemption through Jesus Christ, whose birth and second coming we prepare for.
I hope you are all well, that you are keeping warm as the weather deteriorates and are not becoming overwhelmed by the commercial aspects of the season.
