Dearest brothers and sisters in Christ,
This has been a most dramatic week, the anticipated new Prime Minister of Great Britain taking office alongside the unexpected Proclamation of King Charles III today following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday.
In a world that already seemed to be turning upside down most people have been reeling in a wave of emotion.
We take heart from the faithful example of Her late Majesty and trust in God to guide us through this difficult time.
Our pew sheet contains a prayer plus other information that you may find helpful as the nation mourns.

May Almighty God and the Lord Jesus Christ sustain you and the Holy Spirit rest upon you and grant you peace,
