What a glorious day after the rain and storms recently, a great blessing for the wedding that took place at St Luke’s Church this afternoon!
Here is the pew sheet for the coming week, please note the Guest Service next Sunday with Revd Dr Michael Brydon, Bishop’s chaplain and minister for St Matthew’s Church Douglas, I am sure he will have a very interesting story to tell us about his faith journey.
I am assured that the heating in Marown Church will be repaired this Monday 24th Oct so please bear that in mind if visiting the church over the next few days.
Also, do look out in our churches for leaflets on various topics and from several charities giving up-to-date news of their activities. You might like to note the leaflets about caring for the environment which have lots of tips we can all follow. There are also prayer cards on a range of topics that you may find helpful personally or want to give to a friend.
Finally, don’t forget that the clocks go BACK an hour next Saturday night/Sunday morning, at least you won’t miss church, you will just be an hour early for worship if you get the time wrong!
