At the cathedral there will be an Accession Day Service at 3.30pm
to give thanks for the long reign of Queen Elizabeth II, Lord of Mann with
special music from the Cathedral Choir. Refreshments available after the service.
Dear friends in Christ,
We are approaching the end of Epiphany with the Feast of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple (or Candlemas for short!) on 2nd February.
We are focusing this weekend on our civic and spiritual life together with the Marown Civic Service tomorrow morning and our Guest Service tomorrow evening with a surprise ‘guest’ who will tell us something of their spiritual journey. I do hope you will join us for these very different services.
Refreshments will be available after each of them.
There has been further relaxation of some Covid 19 measures; the wearing of face masks is at each person’s discretion-do please be mindful of others-space for social distancing is available in each church but please do continue to use the hand sanitizer and take Lateral Flow Tests before attending worship or other church gatherings.
